On May 18th, Russian drones struck two foreign vessels near Odesa. The crews extinguished the fires themselves; there were no casualties, and the ships continued their journey.

The attack by the Russian Federation affected two ships flying foreign flags that were en route to the ports of Greater Odesa, as reported on Monday by the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine, writes UNN.

“Another attack on civilian shipping: two vessels heading to the ports of Greater Odesa were damaged. On May 18th, during passage through the Ukrainian corridor towards the ports of Greater Odesa, UAVs struck two civilian vessels flying the flags of Guinea-Bissau and the Marshall Islands,” the AMPU reported.
As indicated by the AMPU, “minor fires broke out on both vessels, which the crews promptly extinguished on their own. Preliminarily, there were no casualties. The ships continued their journey to their destination ports.”
